  • are KIND® products organic?

    We are not currently pursuing organic certification for our snacks. Our top priority is to invest in high quality, premium ingredients, while keeping our products accessible. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that their standards are in line with KIND’s brand values.

  • are KIND® products vegan?

    Most of our nut and whole grain-based products contain honey, which may not fall within some vegan diets. All of our Whole Fruit bar flavors are vegan, as well as most of our KIND Healthy Grains® clusters (excluding Oats & Honey Clusters with Toasted Coconut and Almond Butter Whole Grain Clusters).

  • are KIND® products non-GMO?

    All KIND® snacks are not made with genetically engineered ingredients. The Non-GMO Project seal appears on our Whole Fruit Bars, Whole Fruit & Chocolate Bars, Healthy Grains Bars, Kids Bars, Breakfast Bars, Nut Butter Filled Bars, Simple Crunch Bars, Healthy Grains Clusters, Probiotic Clusters, Nut Clusters, Oatmeal, and Nut Butter Bars. Some of our other snacks are pending Non-GMO Project certification.

  • are KIND® products Kosher?

    KIND® snacks are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union. KIND snacks that are Kosher and do not contain dairy are marked with an OU symbol, whereas those that are Kosher and contain dairy OR are exposed to dairy during the production process are marked OU-D.

  • how much sugar do KIND® products contain?

    The total sugar content across all our snacks range from 4-21 grams. We’ve maintained a longstanding commitment to creating snacks with as little sugar as possible without using artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols.

    Are KIND snack bars healthy? ›

    In 2015 KIND got a warning from the FDA to remove the word “healthy” from its labeling, as it didn't meet their standard for healthy. The FDA claimed that because the bars had more than 1 gram of saturated fat per serving, they couldn't be classified as "healthy."
