How do I contact Panopto support? ›

For immediate help with Panopto, you can call the 24/7 helpline at 855-765-2341.

If you get an error message at the video, like X-frame or the video prompts you to log in, there is an issue with your browser/cookies. Panopto supports the latest versions of Chrome, Edge (Chromium-based and legacy), Firefox, Internet Explorer (11), and Safari. Make sure, that you are not using a VPN.

Panopto is the industry-leading intelligent knowledge management platform for on-demand video sharing. Create, manage, and deliver accessible content across teams, classrooms, and locations with an easy-to-use platform.

If your Panopto video doesn't upload due to and interrupted Internet connection or other issues, allow some time for the upload to retry, which may take several hours. In the rare event of an upload failure to the Panopto server, the recording remains stored on the local computer.

The User Dashboard feature allows an Administrator or Creator the ability to see viewing statistics for sessions a user has viewed as well as for sessions the user has created. Administrators can access statistics for all users, while Creators can see statistics for users that have viewed at least one of their videos.

Panopto Capture, by comparison, saves videos directly to the Panopto cloud. These videos are uploaded incrementally as you record. A local copy is not saved to your computer. Similarly, the Panopto Recorder software must be downloaded to your computer for you to use the software.

Additionally, if you don't have cookies enabled in your browser, Panopto can't make the connection to Canvas to find your account. Supported Browsers

Panopto supports the latest versions of Chrome, Edge (Chromium-based), Firefox, and Safari. *Users can view, upload, or record content using the mobile app; however, they cannot edit content. Note: Panopto Capture is also available within the Panopto Video Management System.
