Answer:

Rice milk of all the plant milks has the least amount of protein. And so I don't necessarily use it if I'm going to make a rich dessert. However, you can add, if, if your rice pudding di or vanilla pudding didn't thicken it is not only because of the kind of milk you used, you generally you need to use some kind of a starch, either arrow root or corn starch. I wouldn't use teca starch cuz that makes things a bit stretchy. That's why it's good for making mozzarella vegan mozzarella cheese. So go ahead and do that. You wanna add a starch slurry and what I mean by that is you've got all your ingredients together for your rice pudding. You're not just gonna put the starch in on top of it, it will lump. So a slurry means mixing the starch, it could be flour as well with an amount of liquid in order to dissolve it and then whisk it in. And that should work. Rice pudding works very well as a vegan dessert. Um, also bear in mind that different brands of plant milks, to me anyway, have different flavor profiles. So if you didn't like the taste of one soy milk, you might like the taste of another.
