How do you figure out women's clothing size? ›

To help choose the right size, you will need to measure your bust, waist and hip. Use a tape measure over your underwear or form fitting clothing and compare your body measurements with those on our size chart, choosing the size that closest matches your measurements.

US size 12–14 is usually considered “Large” and some brands do start “plus sizes” at 12. However, “plus sizes” usually begin at 14 or 16 (Which I believe is a misnomer; in reality, 12–16 sizes are actually pretty average.)
