10 Peter Madrigal

The Manager

Manager Peter Madrigal is the only Vanderpump Rules cast member who still works at SUR. During season 10, he revealed that his dream is to own his own lounge one day, but he isn't ready yet. Peter has worked at SUR since 2008, and now he runs the whole place. He was originally hired as a busboy, but he worked his way up to server and bartender positions and was promoted to manager in 2011. At 38 years old, Peter is the oldest VPR cast member.

Ariana Madix used to work at another one of Lisa's restaurants, Villa Blanca. She joined the SUR staff and Vanderpump Rules cast in season 2. Tom was a bartender at SUR from 2012 until 2019. He kept working there even after opening TomTom, the restaurant he owns as a junior partner alongside best friend and fellow Vanderpump Rules castmate Tom Schwartz. The endlessly snarky James Kennedy worked at SUR as both a busboy and a DJ before he left to pursue music full-time. When he joined the SUR family, he immediately butted heads with Sandoval because he was dating Tom's ex and fellow cast and staff member Kristen. James and Tom later became such good friends that Tom paid for half of James' expensive season 9 proposal to Rachel, whom Tom would go on to have an affair with.

co*cktail waitress Katie was one of SUR's best, most loyal workers. She started working at SUR in October 2009 and had been there longer than most other employees. When the series first started airing in 2013, she was already in a serious relationship with Vanderpump Rules castmate Schwartz. They got married in 2016 and were divorced by 2022, citing irreconcilable differences. Katie no longer works at SUR, but she's on her way to owning a sandwich shop with Ariana.

Jax Taylor used to be a regular bartender at SUR before being cast in Vanderpump Rules alongside his girlfriend at the time, Stassi Schroeder.
