I like the intentions of the Momentum Meter, but the end result isn't clicking for me. I would like it removed or the ability to turn it off, as I feel that it not only affects sliders and ratings, basically nulling them...but it is also unrealistically unfair overall. It just doesn't fit into a true "simulation" mode like whomever thought was accurate. If you just have to keep it in the game, I would personally only keep it in the ARCADE mode. It could feel right for that mode only, as it is reminiscent of NFL Blitz in several ways.
In more detail - gaining momentum on my side, and suddenly the away team can't run routes as well because of the field, etc. - the kinds of advantages that hit per the momentum meter just don't make sense for only one team to suddenly have. If the field has degraded, that's something that affects both teams. That's just one example, but I promise you that they are all in that same vein, really.
Again, overall, I like the idea and intentions, but the implementation just doesn't fit into the "simulation" mode. A lot of people are justifiably thinking that it's what has overpowered the defense and interceptions / fumbles fest going on, as well because when the meter swings far enough, the festival of turnovers begins.
I'm not the average Joe and just here to rant without reason. I hope you take this as calmly as I have written it. This is level-headed thinking and no anger or trashing intended. There is a ton to like about the game. I saw this area to give suggestions, and this is simply that...a suggestion after hours of experiencing the game and in various modes. Thank you for your time.
This meter is activated by selecting “Placement” as the Passing Type under the Skill Based Passing Settings. Accuracy Meter: This meter offers you the ability to influence not only the power on the pass, but your accuracy as well.
When you are switching the settings make sure you are on placement and accuracy under passing type. Then make sure the reticle visibility and meter visibility is set to visible. And then switch the passing type over to just placement. Once i did that they saved as visible finally.
the Momentum engine is only available on PS5 and Xbox X. Positive Play - Feel the emotions, but be aware what they are telling you! anything against it! Aggression: you don't like it and want to break something.
Momentum Shift players demoralize their opponents. When they enter the zone, all on field opponents are knocked out of the zone or lose any progress towards entering the zone.
There is now an ON and OFF option for Home Field Advantage while playing games, allowing Home Field Advantage effects to be turned off. Turning this toggle off will turn off Home Field Advantage as well as all M-Factors.
The M stands for momentum, an already dubious concept one ought not mention around NFL Network's Patrick Claybon or ESPN's Bill Barnwell. M Factors are meant to simulate home-field advantage and momentum shifts during a game. Jump out to a 14-0 start, and you'll see your team get buffed or your opponent get nerfed.
I'm going to settings until you see passing mechanics. Uh, once you get the passing mechanics, you'll see placement, aggregate accuracy. Um, if you scroll down a little bit more, you'll see radical visibility and meter visibility. Just make sure those visible.
To play MUT Champions in Madden 23, players need to gain access by using Champs Entry Tokens, which can be earned from completing objectives and ranking up through the brand-new Competitive Field Pass.
