I had a monster 1 pound potato, microwaved 5 minutes with 5 fork stabs, rinsed off, coated with butter, salt, and pepper, wrapped in foil, and put in oven 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Smash it on the counter and let it sit 5-10 minutes. This is the best baked potato I've ever had.
