Can I Switch Out the Strawberries?

This dish has a strawberries and cream flavor that most everyone will love. If for some reason though you would prefer a different fruit, you can absolutely switch it up. You can use any combination of fruits you like from peaches to cherries.

Making in Advance and Storing Strawberry Fluff Leftovers

While I know this recipe is super easy, and it might be tempting to go ahead and make it in advance, I would recommend making Strawberry Fluff the same day you plan to eat it. The strawberries very likely will end up making the fluff runny the longer it sits.

If you keep the Strawberry Fluff in a bowl with a tight-fitting lid, it should keep for a day or two in the fridge.

Can I Use Homemade Whipped Cream?

I have never tried personally making this recipe with anything other than cool-whip. The cool-whip helps give it the fluffy texture that helps make it so delicious. My guess though would be that homemade whipped cream would give it a different texture and possibly cause it to not set correctly.
