Бережімо один одного, аби зберегти Україну!____On Children's Day, the SaveUA team provided 590 baby hygiene kits for 464 families in several communities in Kherson region. With the support of our Dutch partners Stichting Vluchteling, assistance is provided to families with children with disabilities, large families with three or more children, and families with military parents who have been killed or gone missing. We understand that children need not only financial assistance, but also moral support and special attention. We are grateful to our partners for the opportunity to give children a little warmth and joy in these difficult times. To ensure food security, we provide seeds not only to farmers, but also to ordinary Ukrainians who can cultivate gardens and grow vegetables to support their families.This week, the SaveUA Foundation team distributed #Seeds of Victory for the 2024 planting season as part of the #United_Communities project implemented by the All-Ukrainian Association of Communities with support from the USAID Agriculture and Rural Development Program (AGRO).Seeds of carrots, tomatoes, parsley, beans, and corn were distributed to 450 households in the Uman community, including families of fallen soldiers, families of liquidators of the Chornobyl accident, and people with disabilities.We thank our partners for their support! Задля продовольчої безпеки в громадах, команда фонду SaveUA ("Збережи Україну!") за підтримки Продовольчої та сільськогосподарської організації ООН (FAO) та Мінагрополітики роздала насіння ярої пшениці для малих та середніх фермерських господарств і сільгоспвиробників, земельні угіддя яких становлять від 10 до 500 гектарів та розташовані в безпосередній близькості до лінії фронту.Наразі, 150 господарств у Чернігівській області отримали 300 тонн пшениці, та 242 тонни в Сумській області отримало 121 господарство. Кожне господарство отримало по 2 тонни насіння. Програма реалізується за фінансової підтримки уряду Японії. Дякуємо партнерам за співпрацю та підтримку продовольчої безпеки в українських громадах. Сподіваємося на гарні врожаї! Працюємо далі і готуємося цього тижня до надання господарствам у цих же областях насіння сої. __Dear friends, we are happy to announce the news. We are working in the frontline regions and supporting our farmers. To ensure food security in communities, the SaveUA team, with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, distributed spring wheat seeds to small and medium-sized farms and agricultural producers whose land area ranges from 10 to 500 hectares and is located in close proximity to the front line.So far, 150 farms in Chernihiv region have received 300 tons of wheat, and 121 farms in Sumy region have received 242 tons. Each farm received 2 tons of seeds. The program is implemented with the financial support of the Government of Japan. We thank our partners for their cooperation and support of food security in Ukrainian communities. We congratulate the Ukrainian Agri Council, the parent organization of our foundation, on its 10th anniversary! Exactly 10 years ago, 10 agricultural enterprises united and created the Ukrainian Agri Council to consistently and systematically make changes in the agricultural sector at the legislative and executive levels. Today, the UAC is a powerful driving force in the agricultural sector, with more than 1,200 members in all parts of Ukraine. "We have repeatedly proved not in words but in deeds our unity, readiness to develop the agricultural sector of the country professionally and systematically, to protect the interests of farmers in every region of Ukraine, to convey our position to the highest officials and to improve legislative initiatives to support our agricultural producers. Thank you to all our members for your trust! For your continuous help and support since the first days of the war for our union, the population and the Armed Forces! Andriy Dykun, Head of the SaveUA charity foundation and the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) took part in the #UkraineActionSummit, an important event organized by the American Coalition for Ukraine that brings together American and Ukrainian experts and activists.About 500 participants, delegations from 47 states, including friends and regular partners of the foundation - one of the largest Ukrainian humanitarian organizations providing assistance to Ukraine - Nova Ukraine, gathered in Washington, DC, and for several days communicated with congressmen on how to help Ukraine as much as possible.According to the head of SaveUA and the UAC, during his several days in Washington, D.C., meeting with congressmen and their representatives, he saw firsthand that American politicians listen to their constituents, have a significant impact on them, and their constituents, in the majority, call on Congress to take decisive action to support Ukraine."There are a large number of representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora among the participants of the Summit, but what is surprising and inspiring is that there are many opinion leaders among Americans who have nothing to do with Ukraine, but they actively support us and call themselves Ukrainians by vocation. At every meeting, I had the opportunity to talk about the lives of Ukrainians during the war, about supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and about our charitable activities and humanitarian aid to the population, which would not have been possible without the support of our American partners. I have no words to express my gratitude to ordinary Americans who are fighting for Ukraine and see us as their continuation," said Andriy Dykun.Andriy Dykun also thanked for the assistance that Ukraine receives through USAID programs and for the projects that the UAC and SaveUA teams are implementing to restore the agricultural sector under the USAID Agricultural and Rural Development ("AGRO") Program and to help the population, thanks to the support of the American people.We are grateful to our American friends and partners for their continued support of Ukraine.
