Instant Pot Dump Dinner Recipes

A few months ago we published the post 20 Instant Pot Dump Dinner recipes, and it’s been incredibly popular! For months it’s been the top post on my website. Obviously we are all looking for ways to get a healthy yet easy meal on the table.

Dump it in and press start. If that’s all there is to it, I’m there. If you are too, keep reading for 20 of the best dump dinners we’ve found that are also healthy.

I’ve also received a number of requests from people who want healthier dump dinner options. I get it! I’ve been maintaining a 100 pound weight loss for the last 10 years so I continually look for meals that are low in calories and high in nutrition.

Plus, as a mom of 5 kids, dinner at our house has to be family friendly. While this list includes a few recipes that are a bit different (check out the Moroccan stew with dried cherries) most of these are simple recipes that aim to please even picky eaters.

What are Dump Dinners?

Dump Dinners are meals where you dump everything into one pot and press cook.Originally Dump Dinners were created for the Crock Pot, but here at The Holy Mess we are a bitInstant Potobsessed because it’s so much faster than the slow cooker.

Make one of these recipes for dinner tonight or as part of a healthy meal prep for freezer cooking. (For more tips on Instant Pot freezer cooking, check out this post.)

We do include a few recipes that require browning beef and then adding the remaining ingredients. This is one extra step but so worth it for the variety of recipes this allows. With your Instant Pot, you can saute right in the same pot.
