Rose Nylund liked to live a bit dangerously. As she proclaimed: “I eat raw cookie dough. And occasionally I run through the sprinklers and don’t wear a bathing cap. And at Christmas, I’ve been known to put away more than one eggnog.” If you identify with Rose, you just might like this cookie dough cheesecake (though this dough is safe to eat!).

Chocolate-Topped Strawberry Cheesecake
In one episode, Dorothy and Blanche scold Rose for whipping up a batch of sparhearvan crispies. The St. Olaf original recipe smells awful, but once the gals bite into the treat (noses plugged, of course), they proclaim that they “taste like cheesecake, strawberries and ice cream!” This cheesecake combines all those sparhearvan flavors (and it smells amazing, too!).

Lavender Honey Cheesecake
Rose always had some odd recipes from her Scandinavian-influenced town. One of her better recipes, though, was vanskapkaka. Though we never see it on screen, she describes it as being full of milk, sugar, “a whole lot of love and just a drop of sunshine.” This might not be an authentic St. Olaf vanskapakaka, but it’s definitely made with all those iconic ingredients.
